It’s fair to say juggling multiple complex projects with tight deadlines in an industry which is so competitive, demanding and ever-changing can be hard work. Working in a high-pressure fast-paced industry such as Manufacturing brings its challenges and requires a special type of individual. An individual who can introduce smarter ways of working, think on their feet, develop strong working relationships and possess a high level of skill – and that is what TSP Engineering’s workforce is made up of.
After months of being sworn to secrecy, TSP Engineering are now thrilled to announce that four members of our Workington team have been named in The Manufacturing Top 100 for 2019.
The Manufacturer Top 100 are the most dynamic leaders and innovators in manufacturing, as nominated by The Manufacturer’s 158k strong audience and the wider industrial community and judged by their esteemed judging panel featuring leaders of academic institutions and manufacturing associations. This year marks the sixth year of the prestigious National awards, recognising the heroes of UK manufacturing and those who stand out for their contribution to changing the face of industry and making an impact.
TSP Engineering could not be prouder to have not one, but four employees named this year. Once the Top 100 has been confirmed, the judging panel go on to select 20 individuals as exemplary figures. These individuals may be anything from the CEO of a large company, to a factory manager. Project Engineer, Georgina Stalker, didn’t just make it into the Top 100, but also received Exemplar status which is a massive achievement for Georgina proving no matter your age, gender or background you can be a successful inspirational individual.
Georgina Stalker, stated: “So shocked, humbled and honoured to be named not only in the Top 100, but the Top 20 Exemplars within. I thoroughly enjoy my job and everyone I come into contact with daily, so it really is fantastic to be noticed and appreciated for the hard work that is put in everyday”.

Although we are keen to praise their employees for their commitment, determination, grit and success, it makes it all the more special for the individuals to receive recognition, appreciation and praise on a National level.
