The submissions have been sent, the panel have deliberated, and the finalists have been announced – and we’re thrilled to say that TSP Engineering are one of them. We have been shortlisted for the ‘Achieving Customer Value’ category at this year’s The Manufacturer MX Awards, in partnership with IMechE, Santander and Catapult. 2019 has been a bumper year for entries with a significant number of new companies entering including Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, Weetabix, and commercial printer Bluetree Group – all vying to win 11 category awards and ultimately the coveted title of Manufacturer of the Year.
Robin Davies, Head of International and Sector Solutions, Santander UK, official banking partner of TMMX Awards commented: “Our commitment to UK manufacturing and the wider sector remains strong in 2019. Once again, we’re proud to be supporting these tremendous awards at a time when despite the economic uncertainty, the success of the manufacturing industry is fundamentally important to UK economic growth. It’s incredibly rewarding to see such diversity and innovation in those companies who have made the shortlist. We wish them all good luck and look forward to celebrating with them in November at the awards.”
The awards invite businesses across the UK to voice and showcase their talents and achievements across an array of categories. The category for ‘Achieving Customer Value’ recognises businesses who can demonstrate how customer strategy has contributed to increased growth, optimised innovation, improved operational excellence and enhanced customer delivery and engagement. The customer really is at the heart of everything we do here at TSP Engineering, we see ourselves as an extension of our client’s business and enjoy bringing their vision to life, therefore, being shortlisted for this award is truly amazing.
John Coughlan, CEO of TSP Engineering said: “TSP Engineering are delighted to receive the news that we have been shortlisted in the UK’s most prestigious business awards alongside companies such as Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery and 2 Sisters Food Group. It shows the dedication of the people working at TSP Engineering, and how serious they are about fulfilling and delivering customer requirements”.
With stage one complete, the next chapter involves the judging teams travelling across the UK to visit our comprehensively equipped factory and skilled workforce. The winners will be announced at The Manufacturer MX Awards ceremony and gala dinner taking place on the 14th November in Liverpool. The event will take place during Digital Manufacturing Week which attracts over 800 attendees in order to celebrate the very best of British Industry.
In the words of The Manufacturer MX Awards, they are ‘without doubt the toughest and most rigorous in the UK’, so the fact we have been shortlisted is incredible. We are extremely proud of the team here at TSP, as without their daily drive, hard work and commitment we wouldn’t be able to gain these achievements.
Good luck to all the companies who have been shortlisted, we’re sure it will be an evening full of pride and achievement.
