TSP Engineering are extremely proud to announce our recent success in being awarded a ‘Business Innovation Special Performance Certificate’ from the High Sherriff of Cumbria for the ways in which we have confronted the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic since March 2020.

It’s no secret that the world has been a very different place for the past year, resulting in our team having to find smarter ways of working and implementing new procedures and processes, to ensure we could continue operating. Finding a balance of keeping our team and their families safe, whilst keeping operations active and flowing was a challenge, but with the hard work of the team we achieved it.

The High Sherriff of Cumbria shared a post on social media announcing our win stating,
“Thank you for making Cumbria a great place to live and work! The communities of Cumbria rely on their businesses for jobs, innovation, community support and prosperity. Through these awards I am delighted to thank, acknowledge, and celebrate those business teams who have innovated, supported others, and demonstrated great resilience. The panel of judges for the awards were very impressed with the many creative and generous ways in which the above businesses had adapted their business models, protected their teams and customers and supported others in the community”

We are so proud of our team and all the hard work which has been invested in such a short period of time, full of uncertainty and concern. The togetherness and resilience our team, industry, county and community has shown is truly inspiring. Thank you to the Senior Management Team and our Health and Safety Manager for the endless hours they have invested in planning, preparing, and implementing, allowing TSP to remain open, completing the crucial work which we do. Thank you to every single team member who embraced the changes, remained patient in a time of constant change, and suggested feedback and ideas to help keep us all safe. Every single member of the team has played their part, and we could not be prouder.
